The Escort Bible for the cathedral town of Bury St Edmunds
An archeological dig in 2010 uncovered Bury St Edmunds Bronze Age origins. They also found Roman artefacts. The town was a royal borough of the Saxons and bought its title on account of it getting the burial location of King Edmund The Martyr, who was killed via the Danes in 869.
